Job Responsibilities
- Work with various departments to ensure accurate construction project accounting
- Enter and analyze job cost and billing data into accounting system from initial project set up to close out
- Prepare monthly contract and time and material invoicing and change order requests
- Review field logs and verify and prepare subcontractor pay estimates, review job cost reports, and investigate variances from estimates
- Review, submit, and track data submittals
Qualifications
- 3+ years' accounting experience in the construction or related industry
- Accounting, Finance, or Business degree required for future growth opportunities into Project Controller role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Vista by Viewpoint a plus
