Project Accountant

About the role

Buffalo Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven teammate to join the finance team. The position is responsible for managing client billings and vendor partner payments on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Billing and collections for client partners
• Managing client partner relationships
• Vendor partner check selection, waiver management, and lien support
• Cash flow management, including reporting on cash flow on a job-by-job basis
• Supporting project closeout by coordinating with vendor partners
• Participating actively in team meetings

Qualifications

• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with accounting concepts such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow management
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for helping people
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
