Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project financials and generate accurate, timely reports on project status, budgets, and performance.
- Serve as a key point of contact between accounting and project managers, providing updates and addressing financial questions related to assigned projects.
- Ensure project data is consistently updated, accurate, and reflects the current status of domestic and international projects.
- Support month-end and project close-out processes as needed.
- Assist with invoicing, budget tracking, and cost reconciliation across multiple projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve discrepancies in project financial data.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; internships welcome.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred.
- Comfort working with both domestic and international project accounting.
- Preferred:
- Experience in a project-based or engineering consulting environment
- Experience in multi-entity or international organizations
- Experience in a high-growth or acquisition-driven environment
