Project Accountant
Responsibilities
- Break down, enter, and reconcile credit-card accounts, including Visa and American Express.
- Reconcile reimbursables.
- Post and reconcile prepaid accounts.
- Maintain roll-forward GL accounts.
- Perform intercompany account reconciliations.
- Enter financial data and transactions into the ledger.
- Review division P&Ls for closing.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Assist with external audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate records and provide accounting support.
- Review and analyze financial reports, including establishing and tracking KPIs.
- Work with the accounting team to ensure financial statements and the GL are complete, accurate, timely, and prepared in accordance with GAAP.
- Support the Finance Manager and GL Accountant with tasks needed to meet deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
