Project Accountant

Responsibilities

• Cook with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Monitor unpaid bills and follow up with project managers and clients to secure payment.
• Avoid inappropriate documentation and ensure appropriate documentation is available for contract terms and billing terms.
• Provide necessary data for PMs and others regarding project financial status.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to ensure invoices are accurate and meet our clients' requirements.
• Prepare other reports as necessary or as requested by the Billing Manager.
• Avoid assisting with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor or Associate Degree in Accounting; Finance, or related field.
• Have the ability to learn new technologies, tools, and platforms.
• Have strong computer skills in MS Office Suite and Windows applications.
• Have strong organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Have strong communication/interpersonal skills.
• Work well within a team-oriented environment.
• Problem solve.

Qualifications

• Have 3 or more years of experience preferred.
• Have Prior billing experience within the construction/engineering industry.
• Have Experience with Deltek Vision or VantagePoint, e-billing portals e.g. Textura, ProCore, Supply Pro.
• Have Experience with general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
