What We Are Looking For

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant here at Aldridge Electric. In this role you will work with Project Managers to submit invoices / pay estimates / waivers to customers along with any other documentation required by our contract. You will also Follow through on all approved billings to ensure timely collection of funds.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with Project Managers to submit invoices, pay estimates, lien waivers, payroll reports, fuel/equipment reports, insurance certificates, drug testing reports, sworn statements to customers along with any other documentation required by our contract
  • Prepare billing package and follow up to ensure timely collection of funds
  • Maintain accurate forecasting of collections aggressively as billings approach contractual payment cycles
  • Develop and report job specific cash management plans
  • Clock in and coordinate subcontract and supplier payments as determined by the terms of each contract
  • Monitor pay estimates from pencil through funding stage
  • Clock in and ensure the collection of various required documentation from subcontractors and suppliers
  • Clock in and monitor change order status through each stage
  • Clock in and monitor contract values to ensure accuracy for both Aldridge and each subcontractor

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-4 years of project accounting or accounts receivable or related experience
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
  • Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations to executive teams, while remaining diplomatic and respectful

What We Offer

  • The annual base pay for this role is between $65,000 – $80,000. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions.
  • The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
  • The role may also be eligible for a bonus.
