Progressive Care Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator

About the role

Medical City Denton is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Supervisor) to deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all functions in the unit. The CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and serves as a resource for staff to support an unparalleled patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Requirements

• 1+ year(s) as a Progressive Care Unit or Telemetry RN Supervisor required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse, Associates Degree in Nursing Required, Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred.
