Progressive Care Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to acutely ill, stable patients in the progressive care unit
• Manage complex cardiac, respiratory, and post-surgical cases
• Perform frequent patient assessments and administer medications
• Titrate IV drips and interpret telemetry data
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and safe care transitions
