Description
Proficient in data management including the ability to collect, clean, validate and analyze data from multiple primary sources. Contributes to and supports system improvements including evaluation and implementation of software upgrades. Creates solutions to improve workflows and accuracy. Able to produce graphical and other visual displays of data to guide decision-makers. Collaborates with team members on team projects and provides reporting support for various applications.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar data-analysis and programming languages. Experience with dashboard development and BI tools such as Tableau. Understanding of healthcare/clinical data (preferred).
What you will do
- Write SQL (or similar) queries for data manipulation, sorting, summarizing and reporting.
- Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and actionable insights.
- Verifies validity and reproducibility of quality/safety measures when indicated from multiple data sources.
- Ensures completeness and accuracy of reports.
- Use additional reporting tools such as BI dashboards, Excel, etc., as needed.
- Maintains routine reporting and data-load processes.
- Develop data-management solutions to improve contract management, fee schedules, client information, clinical data and related processes.
- Create tools or automation to streamline recurring data tasks or reporting needs.
- Collaborates with clinical staff leadership and colleagues to determine information needs and to understand requirements for applications and/or reports.
- Aid staff in understanding healthcare data and translates analytical results into actionable business guidance for non‑technical audiences.
- Provides programming and analytical expertise on team projects.
