Position Overview: NDS Integration, a leading AV integration company, is looking for a skilled and adaptable AV Systems Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, designing, installing, and maintaining audiovisual systems, with a primary focus on Crestron and Q-SYS technologies. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless system functionality and delivering high-quality AV solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities: AV Systems Programming:Design and program control systems using Crestron and Q-SYS platforms.Customize user interfaces, system functions, and automation sequences to meet client specifications.Test, troubleshoot, and debug systems to ensure full functionality and integration with other technologies.Optimize systems for performance and scalability, ensuring they meet project requirements.System Maintenance & Technical Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and internal teams, ensuring systems operate smoothly.Perform routine system maintenance, diagnostics, and updates to prevent issues and enhance system performance.Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.Availability for “on-call” support, including outside of regular working hours, when necessary.Leadership & Team Support:Mentor and train junior technicians on programming best practices, installation methods, and troubleshooting techniques.Supervise and support installation teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and within deadlines.Provide technical guidance on complex projects, assisting in the resolution of challenging issues to ensure project success. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AV system programming and installation, specializing in Crestron and Q-SYS technologies.Skills:Proficiency with Crestron Simpl Windows, Q-SYS Designer, and related programming languages.Strong knowledge of audiovisual systems, including audio/video processing, video conferencing, and control system integration.Leadership and mentoring experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage and guide teams effectively.Certifications: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP), Q-SYS Level 2 Training, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
