Programmer

About the role

The Programmer is an integral part of Latham & Watkins' Technology & Information Services team and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and systems software with a primary focus on web-based solutions and system integrations, while collaborating with team members to develop customized, high-quality enterprise web, mobile, and back-end APIs and applications.

This role will be located in our Global Services office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing existing web, mobile, and service applications
• Collaborating with project analysts, team members, and stakeholders to determine application requirements, estimates, and timelines
• Designing prototypes and proof-of-concept demos
• Providing daily status and work estimates via work item tracking and verbal reports
• Preparing appropriate system and user documentation as required
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Qualifications

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of C# and .NET (full framework and core)
• Display proficiency with the ASP.NET programming platform, including MVC and Web Forms
• Show exposure to cloud development and DevOps, preferably with Azure
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant programming experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL programming

Pay Range: USD $125,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
