Programmer Analyst

Shared Services: MC: Enterprise Data Warehouse (Full-time, day shift)

About the role

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions across our enterprise application portfolio. Participates and may coordinate workflow-related issues and design, build, and test interfaces between disparate systems, and support production solutions. Facilitates defining and documenting requirements using structured analysis methods and coordinates data analysis and design training sessions, as needed. Performs other duties as needed.

• Coordinate data analysis and design training sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field required (or an additional seven years of related experience in healthcare or information technology in lieu of degree)
• Minimum one year of experience required; preferably in a healthcare-related field
• Technical knowledge of system development life cycle and database management
• Experience with development tools: PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode API, Integration Broker, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XSL, WebLogic, Apache, Tuxedo
• Experience with interface engine development tools (e.g., Cloverleaf, Sybase e*Biz Impact, OpenLink, OpenEngine, WebSphere, Microsoft EventHUB/Biztalk) preferred
• Experience in programming languages: C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic preferred
• Experience with applications: Sun Products, Quovodax, Neon, application development, SQL-based database systems, writing SQL queries preferred
• Knowledge of clinical or business/revenue cycle workflow in healthcare
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) with professional quality
• Strong knowledge of project management software: MS Project, Access, and other project management tools
• Ability to relate and communicate positively and effectively with others, work calmly under pressure, and collaborate
• Excellent analytic, documentation, planning, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, processes, and needs based on limited information and make recommendations
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and independent work capabilities
• Able to perform basic math and statistical functions, compose written material, and recall information accurately
• Sufficient sensory abilities (color distinction, hearing for conversations and workplace sounds, vision for computer screens and documents)

Qualifications

• Completion of Loma Linda University (LLUH) Proficiency within the designated application(s) and/or module(s) is required within the initial 90-day probationary period (cumulative passing score on associated projects and exams, with a maximum of three attempts)
• Other systems similar certification requirements may apply
