Programme Facilitator – Morrinsville Playcentre

About the role

As a Programme Facilitator, you lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of our Space sessions. You strive to create engaging, nurturing experiences for whānau and pēpi.

• Planning and setup of the sessions, ensuring any equipment is safe and clean
• Leading discussions, music and movement, play, crafts, and kai time
• Building relationships with whānau and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment
• Ensuring session admin tasks are completed on time

Position Details

12 October 2026, or to be agreed with the successful applicant
Wednesday 12:00pm – 3:00pm, 3 hours with additional relief opportunities available
Permanent role during school term time only

About You

You are reliable, work well with others, and feel confident supporting whānau in a group setting. This role offers a chance to build your experience, develop new skills, and make a positive impact on families’ parenting journeys.

• Minimum Course 3 of the Playcentre Education Diploma or equivalent ECE Qualification (L4 or above desired)
• Current First Aid Certificate or be willing to achieve this
• Proven ability to engage confidently and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong organisational capabilities, including time management, meeting deadlines, multitasking, and balancing detail with overall objectives

Qualifications

• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
