Programmatic Strategy Manager
Location: New York City (2 days/week in-office)
About the role
We’re looking for a Programmatic Strategy Manager to work with our accounts management team and clients, guiding the strategy of our programmatic activity and advocating for increased budget by identifying opportunities and building smart proposals. This client-facing role within M&C Saatchi Performance’s programmatic division, FYND, acts as the bridge between traders, account teams, and clients—translating technical programmatic recommendations into clear strategies and proposals.
The role supports approximately 4 to 5 accounts with monthly programmatic budgets typically ranging from $100,000 to $300,000. This is not a hands-on trading position but a strategic, client-facing role for someone who has moved from programmatic activation or trading into strategy.
Responsibilities
- Guide the strategy of existing programmatic activity and advocate for additional budget by identifying growth opportunities.
- Build and present clear, compelling proposals to clients based on programmatic insights.
- Act as the bridge between traders, account teams, and clients, translating technical recommendations into actionable strategies.
- Present to clients, explaining programmatic concepts in simple, accessible terms.
- Identify opportunities to grow or protect client budgets through data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in programmatic advertising, with a background in activation or trading and a transition into a strategic, client-facing role.
- Strong experience with platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, and StackAdapt (tech-agnostic approach across multiple DSPs).
- Comfortable presenting to clients, simplifying complex programmatic concepts, and building proposals.
- Ability to identify opportunities to grow or protect client budgets.
- Management experience is helpful but not required (this is not a large team management role).
Pay
Salary range: $80,000–$110,000, with discretionary bonus.
