About The Position

The Program Supervisor, Beneficial Electrification is responsible for the implementation and management of beneficial electrification programs. This role oversees program execution, including vendor management, budget tracking, and compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. The position supports reporting, data tracking, and performance monitoring to ensure programs meet established goals and metrics. Additionally, the role provides guidance on marketing and customer engagement strategies within existing program frameworks and delivers training and technical expertise to internal teams, customers, and program partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize programs that support customer adoption of efficient electrification technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and performance targets
  • Oversee the prioritization and implementation of program activities through established processes and methodologies to ensure consistent delivery and measurable outcomes
  • Conduct due diligence and benchmarking by collaborating with external stakeholders (research organizations, utilities, trade allies, distributors, and partners) to inform program improvements and best practices
  • Cook up across internal teams and external partners to drive accountability, resolve issues, and ensure consistent, high-quality program execution
  • Oversee vendor and partner performance to ensure compliance with program requirements, contract terms, and established service-level expectations
  • Review and approve vendor invoices. Manage contract compliance. Coordinate accounting activities with Corporate Accounting
  • Aid in the development and execution of marketing, sales and program implementation strategies that increase customer satisfaction and motivate customers to implement Beneficial Electrification programs
  • Identify barriers preventing customer adoption of EVs and other beneficial electrification measures and proactively seek existing and/or develop innovative ways to eliminate those barriers. Proactively collaborate with other Ameren Illinois work groups, including Rates & Regulatory, Energy Efficiency, Customer Satisfaction, Economic Development, Communication & Public Relations, Customer Engagement, Operations, Ameren Missouri and Ameren Corporate to develop and implement efficient electrification and product and services programs
  • Stay abreast of the latest efficient electrification applied technology developments and trends and aggressively explore opportunities for deployment
  • Develop presentations and summary reports to inform and engage executive leadership in support of promoting transportation electrification efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or related technical area from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related technical area is preferred.
  • Five or more years of professional level experience applying technical knowledge or managing programs or major projects.
  • Direct experience with electric utility distribution systems and customers preferred.
  • Experience with project management, and familiarity with utility industry is preferred.

Senior Program Supervisor, Beneficial Electrification Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or related technical area from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree in engineering, business, or related technical area is preferred.
  • Seven or more years of professional level experience applying technical knowledge or analyzing business cases (e.g., financial analyses, market analyses, and industry analyses) for projects required.
  • Direct experience with electric utility distribution systems and customers preferred.
  • Three of more years of project management experience required.

Technical Aptitude

Demonstrate technical aptitude for understanding and explaining end-user technologies and promoting innovative solutions.

Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills

Both verbal and written. Excellent analytical skills.

Compensation Range

$88,500.00 - $172,200.00
