About the Role
Thompson, founded in 1886 as an orphanage, has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. We provide a continuum of care encompassing prevention, mental health services, and foster care. All programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based, aiming to build resilience in clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and performance of youth residential programs.
- Prioritize tasks for youth care specialists and remove obstacles to ensure the best care for youth.
- Serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring 100% compliance for programs.
- Work in-office with evenings/weekends as required and on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in health & human services.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Exposure to leadership/management through project management, coordination, training, or actual leadership positions.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with residential youth programs or related field.
- Valid Driver’s License and compliance with credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards.
- Must pass a drug screening and extensive background check.

Pay
Starting Pay Range: $55-58k annually
