Pay

$18-$22 per hour. Final compensation is based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead adult recreational sports programs and activities
• Work with individuals or groups, teaching sports skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring safety and inclusiveness for all participants
• Teach and lead pickleball classes, lessons, and clinics for individuals or groups of various skill levels
• Develop engaging instructional programs and promote the game of pickleball
• Design, organize, and deliver pickleball lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players
• Teach proper techniques for serving, rallying, and scoring, as well as effective strategies for doubles and singles play
• Tailor lessons to participants' skill levels, offering progressions and adjustments as needed
• Demonstrate various drills, movements, and techniques to improve player performance
• Ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in planning, organizing, and implementing sports programs, preferably in an adult sports or recreation setting
• Experience in program administration, including participant registration, event coordination, and resource management
• Knowledge of adult sports programming, rules, and regulations for various sports
• Understanding of safety protocols, injury prevention, and risk management in sports programs
• Knowledge of group dynamics and ability to work with diverse populations
