Job Summary
Assists the project coordinator and director by collecting patient information in person and via phone according to established protocols. Assists with the coordination of patient enrollment, data collection and management, and scheduling of assessment and treatment sessions.
- Assists Principal Investigator with preparation of study data for long-term storage in a data repository.
- Counsels families through initial screenings to describe available services and identify families interested in enrolling.
- Coordinates patient registration. Sends study surveys to parents and teachers. Follows-up with parents and teachers to ensure completion of surveys. Administers questionnaires over the phone as needed. Enrolls families in the EMR and maintains accurate patient records.
- Assists Principal Investigator in coordination and follow-up with the subcontracted sites.
- Attends recruitment events to share information with parents and school personnel.
- Organizes paperwork and collects data from families. Verifies all completed forms and contacts families to clarify information and collect missing information.
- Assists Principal Investigator with preparation of study materials for dissemination to the public.
- Compiles, processes, and analyzes data; records patient information; files and maintains records; codes data for input for electronic data processing; inputs and retrieves data using computers.
- Completes program-related tracking files and data entry using web-based input protocols.
- Aids in preparation of study reports, presentations, and manuscripts.
- Distributes gift cards to study participants. Maintains accurate gift card distribution logs and assists the Program Manager with preparing gift-card reconciliation reports on a monthly basis.
- Communicates effectively with families in-person and over the phone in both Spanish and English.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) years of office or related experience coordinating functions of an office or department
