About the role
The client is a leading global automotive supplier seeking an OEM Program Management Specialist to support the planning, development, validation, launch, and lifecycle management of OEM accessory programs. This role partners closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, marketing, and OEM stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple OEM accessory programs and projects from planning through launch and ongoing lifecycle support.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action plans.
- Cook up cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives and launch timelines are achieved.
- Identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate project review meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Create and maintain project dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations.
- Partner with OEM customers and internal teams to align priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project management processes, tools, and reporting.
- Drive accountability and follow-up to ensure timely completion of key project activities.
- Aid with special projects and additional assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of experience in project management, program management, product development, or a related function.
- Experience within automotive OEM, Tier 1 supplier, aftermarket accessories, or vehicle product development environments.
- Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience creating project schedules, status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred
- PMP certification or formal project management training.
- Experience supporting engineering, supply chain, quality, inventory, marketing, or product development teams.
- Knowledge of OEM product development and launch processes.
- Korean language proficiency is a strong plus.
