About the role
Performs varied confidential clerical and support duties.
Serves as the initial point of contact for SAS. Provides support services including but not limited to: answering phone calls, monitoring departmental email, providing information on processes and procedures to students/parents/faculty, scheduling appointments, and maintaining confidential student/departmental records. Represents SAS on boards and councils.

Requirements
- High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Four years of relevant work experience.
- Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Counseling, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Two years' experience in higher education setting, preferably working with students with disabilities.
- Experience in Microsoft Word and various other Microsoft programs.
- Familiar with general office procedure, awareness of office procedures, as it relates to records and reports, able to relate to diverse staff and students, basic knowledge/ability with office equipment.

Pay
$17.00 - $22.25 Hourly
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
