Responsibilities

The Program Site Supervisor manages the daily functions of the site program by developing a team of youth program leaders who execute program activities and implement curriculum. Responsibilities include:

  • Professional Development & Leadership (50%)
    • Align daily practices with the organization’s mission, vision, and values
    • Evaluate team members and document punctuality, performance on goals, professionalism, disciplinary issues, and adherence to policies in digital employee files
    • Administer, execute, and document quarterly and annual performance reviews, training, and development plans
    • Provide ongoing classroom management, discipline, and program facilitation training
    • Plan training workshops for staff in collaboration with HR
    • Interview and select new team members for the site in partnership with HR
    • Communicate role expectations and build onboarding plans for new team members
    • Maintain strong communication with other Site Supervisors
  • Program Quality & Management (35%)
    • Oversee program registration, enrollment, attendance goals, and curriculum implementation
    • Enter and maintain youth and family member data in the youth member tracking database
    • Maintain a daily site schedule and ensure adequate staff coverage
    • Ensure all programs and activities are culturally competent and age-appropriate
    • Facilitate programs in the absence of program staff
    • Verify and review documentation of disciplinary actions, incident reports, etc., in the tracking system
    • Deliver behavioral support and consequences as identified in the behavior management plan
    • Administer evaluation instruments and feedback solutions to youth and families
    • Set an annual events and activities calendar in conjunction with the Senior Youth Program Leader
    • Recommend and manage site budget
  • ICAN Community Partner Ambassador (15%)
    • Establish and nurture relationships with school staff and parents to foster collaboration
    • Manage and develop working relationships with volunteers
    • Serve as an ambassador and role model upholding ICAN’s guidelines and rules
    • Perform all duties with discipline and accountability

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of direct management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in program facilitation and implementation
  • Staff development experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Minimum 21 years old with a valid AZ driver’s license
  • Dependable vehicle with proof of current AZ registration and valid insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
