About the role

The Program Security Representative provides multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs (SAPs) and ensures strict adherence to security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with NISPOM, its Supplement, DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
  • Develop and execute policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data.
  • Provide day-to-day security support, including continuous assessment and recommendation for policy improvements.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to SAP, SCI, and collateral data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Operations Security program.
  • Coordinate with SAP security personnel to incorporate lessons learned into the SAP security education and awareness program.
  • Conduct SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-up reviews, and close-outs.
  • Monitor and report on corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
  • Notify relevant personnel of pertinent security matters.
  • Investigate and assess damage from classified information losses or compromises.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee team members.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • 2+ years of SAP experience required.

Qualifications

  • Physical Security, Program Security, Security Management certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience.
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of NISPOM, DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
  • Experience in developing and executing security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Benefits

Maximum base salary range: $137,870 - $186,530. Salary may vary based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Other benefits include:
