About the role
The Program Security Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the security of classified information and assets within the program. They are responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls.
Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect classified information and assets.
- Conduct background investigations and security clearances for personnel involved in the program.
- Monitor and report on security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security awareness training programs for program personnel.
- Collaborate with other security professionals to ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a security-related field, preferably in a government or defense setting.
- Knowledge of classified information handling procedures and security clearances.
- Experience with security software tools and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
