About the role

The Program Security Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring the security of classified information and assets within the program. They are responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect classified information and assets.
  • Conduct background investigations and security clearances for personnel involved in the program.
  • Monitor and report on security incidents and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain security awareness training programs for program personnel.
  • Collaborate with other security professionals to ensure compliance with federal regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a security-related field, preferably in a government or defense setting.
  • Knowledge of classified information handling procedures and security clearances.
  • Experience with security software tools and systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
