Program Security Officer
SAIC is seeking an experienced Program Security Officer to join a team in Santa Maria, CA. Candidates must work on-site at this location and respond quickly to security needs, primarily supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) and other Department of Defense agencies. An active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph is required.

Responsibilities
- Manage and administer all security aspects for multiple programs, ensuring compliance with NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, federal security regulations, and information security requirements.
- Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment.
- Write, review, and provide guidance on security documentation for all security levels, including collateral and SCI information.
- Investigate and manage security incidents, preparing reports and specifying preventive actions.
- Conduct SCI indoctrination briefings and educational training for new and current employees; coordinate security debriefings.
- Conduct candidate prescreen interviews and participate in the recruiting process.
- Responsible for SCIFs, including after-hours alarm response.
- Support other facility security requirements as needed.
- Provide proposal support, including writing Security Volumes (prior experience is a plus).
- Be an active member of the SAIC security team.
- Assist with preparing clearance request packages.
- Perform other security duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related Intelligence Community experience, or a Master’s degree and 4 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with consent for a CI polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Prior experience managing SCIF build-outs.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify solutions.
- Working knowledge of NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and Executive Orders to ensure security compliance.
- Knowledge of physical security, personnel security, information system security, and industrial security.
- Willingness to be available 24/7 for on-call duties and on-site support as required.
Pay
Target salary range: $120,001 – $160,000, based on experience.
