Program Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Aid in managing program security to ensure smooth contract delivery and compliance with relevant government, customer, and company standards.
• Directly interact with government customers, program delivery managers, and the broader industrial security team, and compile/provide metrics on contract personnel, system execution, and support status.
• Support physical and personnel security programs, SCIF operations, and new facility build-related activities, including maintaining and updating personnel security clearance records in SIMS, assisting with facility security officer support actions, and performing other related tasks as directed.
• Collaborate with the industrial security team to maintain compliance and enhance operational efficiency within the contract and personnel security domains, utilizing existing systems, processes, and procedures.
• Prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma with at least 7 years of experience in the Industrial Security field.
• Experience with administrative tasks such as data aggregation, data entry, file organization, and compilation/presentation of metrics.
• Experience performing PSO functions for DoD and IC programs, including personnel additions, changes, and terminations.
• Familiarity with Industrial Security procedures outlined in 32 CFR Part 117 of the NISPOM and Intelligence Community Guidance.
• Working knowledge of DISS and NBIS.
• Experience with administration of security education programs.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
• Frequent movement about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequent communication with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
