Program Security Officer

About the role

The Program Security Officer (PSO) is responsible for managing and administering DoD and Intelligence Community contracts, ensuring compliance with government, customer, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Support program security operations, including physical and personnel security, SCIF operations, and facility security functions.
• Maintain security records, assist with facility security officer tasks, and update personnel security clearances.
• Communicate with government stakeholders, program managers, and security teams, providing security metrics and status updates.
• Ensure compliance within security processes, support contract delivery, and maximize efficiency.
• Prioritize tasks and effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 7+ years in Industrial Security.
• Experience with administrative security functions, data management, and metrics presentation.
• Experience performing PSO functions for DoD and IC programs.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of security procedures (32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM).
• Familiarity with DISS and NBIS.
• Experience with security education program administration.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
• Ability to move within the office environment.
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
