About the role
The Program Security Officer (PSO) is responsible for managing and administering DoD and Intelligence Community contracts, ensuring compliance with government, customer, and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Support program security operations, including physical and personnel security, SCIF operations, and facility security functions.
- Maintain security records, assist with facility security officer tasks, and update personnel security clearances.
- Communicate with government stakeholders, program managers, and security teams, providing security metrics and status updates.
- Ensure compliance within security processes, support contract delivery, and maximize efficiency.
- Prioritize tasks and effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- High School Diploma with 7+ years in Industrial Security.
- Experience with administrative security functions, data management, and metrics presentation.
- Experience performing PSO functions for DoD and IC programs.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of security procedures (32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM).
- Familiarity with DISS and NBIS.
- Experience with security education program administration.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Ability to move within the office environment.
- Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
