Program Security Assistant III

Qualifications

• Education / Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• U.S. citizenship and a final DoD TOP SECRET clearance with most recent investigation (SSBI, SBPR, PPR, T5, T5R) completed within the last 6 years.
• The CDSE Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) must be obtained within Two (2) years after hire and maintained through employment as a Program Security Assistant (PSA).
• Four (4) years’ experience in a DoD Security environment (Military, Govt Civilian, or DoD contractor).
• Two (2) years of that experience working in specialized classified environment is desired.
• Working knowledge of security manuals, directives, and Executive orders to include but not limited to; EO 13526, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM), ICD 705, DoDM 5200.01, Volumes 1-4, DoDM 5205.11 and DoD 8500.01
• Proficiency in maintaining electronic and physical recordkeeping systems
• Experience with security compliance inspections and audits preferred
• Prior experience in a security support role within classified programs highly desired

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
