About the role

Turner & Townsend seeks a Program Scheduler to join their team. This role involves creating and managing schedules for large-scale construction programs, overseeing multiple projects from pre-construction to close-out, and implementing best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage scheduling for large-scale construction programs
  • Implement best practices and report trends both internally and externally
  • Create and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6 and Tableau
  • Review and understand engineering, procurement, and construction schedule logic
  • Create, manage, and oversee schedules using critical path method
  • Work actively with project managers and construction firms to maintain schedule integrity
  • Produce high-level and 1, 3, 6-month look-ahead schedules for reporting
  • Create logic-driven schedules from limited project information, from initiation through to closeout
  • Identify major phases and dependencies within the timeline
  • Utilize P6 to create E2E master schedules and detailed construction schedules
  • Regularly update schedules in-line with the Program calendar following standard planning principles
  • Perform resource loading and produce management overviews of over and underutilization
  • Identify and trend movement to key float paths
  • Track quantities using S-curves
  • Collaborate with contractors and sub-contractors on a regular basis
  • Prepare and update monthly progress reports
  • Actively monitor and communicate any potential project issues affecting the schedule

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred certification by AACE in planning/scheduling
  • Prior experience building complex master schedules
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and construction contracting
  • Experience converting data into Tableau reports and graphics
  • Excellent communication skills

Benefits

Turner & Townsend is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer. The minimum salary for the Program Scheduler position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary is $150,000 annually. The compensation offered depends on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
