Responsibilities

• Screens patients for eligibility for all available programs and episodic coverage
• Enrolls patients into the appropriate program
• Ensures patients have the most appropriate financial resources to continue seeking care at TrueCare on a continued basis
• Screens for programs such as Medi-Cal, Covered CA, PFPACT, CHDP, and any other episodic programs available at TrueCare
• Explains the program and specifics to each patient as necessary

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology, and data entry training preferred
• Employee will be required to travel between all TrueCare's sites and locations therefore a CA Driver’s License, clean driving record, and reliable transportation are required
• Certified Enrollment Counselor or eligible for certification within three months of hire
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with people of all ages and social and ethnic backgrounds, including patients, medical staff, co-workers, and the public
• Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay

The pay range for this role is $23 - $32.20 on an hourly basis. Pay transparency: If you are hired at TrueCare, your salary will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining an offer.
