Program Quality Lead Tucson, AZ

About the role

The Coyote Missile On-site Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) supports U.S. and foreign programs within the Coyote portfolio at our Tucson, AZ location. This role drives a robust quality culture, practices, and collaboration efforts, ensuring the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive quality strategies shaping Raytheon’s ability to become the provider of choice.
• Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Generate new CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence), CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Monitor and lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues.
• Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
• Relevant experience in Program / Project Quality Management, Quality Planning, Quality Assurance and/or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience leading teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
• Experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.
