Responsibilities

  • Analyze project proposals to determine timelines, funding, and processes for successful completion.
  • Schedule project deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
  • Lead and motivate project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish work plans and staffing for project activities and coordinate recruitment or assignment of personnel.
  • Implement communication plans and perform risk assessments with mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure quality and consistency across information systems.
  • Direct and coordinate project personnel to ensure timely and budget-compliant progress.
  • Create and distribute status reports to stakeholders.
  • Lead complex, cross-departmental projects and interact with management at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT work experience, including 2 years in project coordination and 3 years in business unit-facing roles.
  • Experience with projects involving multiple technology or functional domains.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
  • Ability to blend traditional project management principles with agile development approaches.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT work experience, including 2 years in project coordination and 3 years in business unit-facing roles.
  • Experience with projects involving multiple technology or functional domains.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
  • Preferred: PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships across stakeholder communities.
  • Experience in leading enterprise-wide programs with multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder mapping, communications, and reporting.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $57 - $92 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
