The impact you’ll make as a Program or Project Manager at Lam: you’ll drive projects from initiation through delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-visibility, cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex problems.
- Apply structured methodologies such as 8D and Six Sigma, using quality tools for problem-solving.
- Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, customer quality, and corporate teams.
- Coach teams on selecting and using the right problem-solving tools.
- Ensure sustainable corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Provide actionable insights for management through data collection and analysis.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise communications for leadership teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure execution, manage risks, and assure adherence to program or project schedules and performance to meet business requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve processes.
- Run change management for projects and programs and support proper project closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant project management certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, or PRINCE2.
Pay
Salary range for this position in the California San Francisco Bay Area: $92,000 – $211,000. Offers depend on factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
Schedule
Hybrid roles combine on-site collaboration with remote flexibility:
- On-site Flex: Work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with remote work for the balance of the week.
- Virtual Flex: Work 1–2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
