About the role

This position monitors the program during varying shifts to ensure the safety of residents. You will respond to immediate social or housekeeping issues, provide breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed, and handle crises and emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the program and its residents to ensure resident safety during assigned hours.
  • Respond to all immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise.
  • Provide breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
  • Respond to crises and emergencies.
  • Input data into the agency database as requested by supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in all individual program and agency activities as required by supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in all job-related workshops and in-services trainings.
  • Respond professionally to incidents involving contagious diseases (e.g., HIV, Hepatitis B, TB).
  • Serve on agency committees as requested.
  • Assist in the implementation of the agency's policies and procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned.
  • Integrate Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with staff, residents, and external partners.
  • Maintain compliance with all required rules and regulations, including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid, and/or HUD.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalency diploma.
  • A valid NYS driver's license.

Pay

$17.85/hour.
