About the role
Build the operational backbone that powers Amazon’s premium advertising portfolio. As a Program Manager in Device Ad Operations, you’ll drive operational excellence across our premium ad products, ensuring they scale successfully. You’ll coordinate product launches, establish governance frameworks, and build repeatable processes that connect Product, Sales, and Advertising leadership to deliver results at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional programs that drive operational excellence across premium ad products, including sponsorships, takeovers, and emerging formats
- Develop and execute program roadmaps aligned with business objectives and product vision for ad product commercialization
- Build scalable mechanisms and operating processes that reduce manual work and increase team capacity for growth initiatives
- Drive cross-organizational alignment across stakeholder teams through structured coordination, clear escalation paths, and transparent decision-making frameworks
- Identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies across product launches, calendar releases, and go-to-market initiatives
A day in the life
As a Program Manager in Device Ad Operations, you'll focus on building the operational infrastructure that powers our premium ad products across device surfaces. Your day involves reviewing business health dashboards to identify gaps and risks, triaging requests from partner teams, and leading cross-functional coordination sessions to align on launch timelines and inventory decisions. You'll spend time refining standard operating procedures and intake processes that reduce manual work and increase self-service capabilities across the organization.
About The Team
We own the go-to-market strategy, launch execution, and operational scaling for Amazon's premium advertising portfolio across our device ad surfaces. Our team ensures that when a new ad product launches, Sales can sell it, advertisers can buy it, and the experience works at scale. We're building the operational mechanisms and processes that enable our organization to grow efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of program or project management experience, 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience, Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.

- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience, 3+ years of driving process improvements experience, Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $81,600.00 - $142,800.00 USD annually in New York, and $82,700.00 - $129,800.00 USD annually in Seattle. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
