Program Manager through Senior Program Manager - Distribution Program Management Office

Key Responsibilities
- Perform project/program analytics to prepare plans, standards, and operating procedures consistent with good operational practice
- Develop and support plans, specifications, and project management documents for development, expansion, and maintenance of distribution programs
- Design & analytics related tasks for defined distribution programs and support various Program Management teams with design support, coordination, and analysis, including interfacing with Distribution Standards, Maintenance Strategy, and Distribution Planning teams
- Provide technical expertise and be a subject matter expert in knowledge about both the current and desired future states of distribution programs with the ability to create processes necessary across various workgroups to facilitate planning and execution of programs
- Analyze program performance, devise course corrections, and support implementation of measures to ensure program success
- Effectively interact with field personnel to gain support and receive feedback for programs and associated performance measures
- Facilitate electric delivery system operations processes and methodology that enable teams to package and streamline various distribution programs
- Incorporate personnel and public safety as a priority in the design and operation of system projects/programs
- Effectively communicate and resolve issues with other work groups while presenting detailed documentation and plans ranging from conceptual to complex in nature
- Effectively manage multiple assignments while maintaining work product quality, reliability, and volume
- Promote environmental responsibility, corporate citizenship, and ethical conduct while setting a standard of excellence
Skills
- Ability to apply complex analysis to identify solutions to technical problems
- Effectively communicate and commit to a course of action that is consistent with all legal, regulatory, code, standard, or other requirements as well as corporate policies and procedures
- Strong proficiency in program management
- Strong proficiency of the distribution system
Education and Experience
- Program Manager: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or discipline closely related to construction or project management encouraged to apply. 3 or more years of experience in planning, design, operation, or construction of Distribution/Transmission facilities or another related field is required. 1 or more years of experience in program/project management is encouraged to apply.
- Program Manager, Senior: 5 or more years of experience in planning, design, operation, or construction of Distribution/Transmission facilities or another related field is required. 2 plus years of experience in program/project management is encouraged to apply.
Measures of Success
- Ability to effectively manage projects from inception to completion, working with other groups
- Positive contributions to the safety program
- Completion of Employment Development Plans
- Able to build solid working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of all distribution programs
- Able to manage development and execution of distribution programs with the ability to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control
