Program Manager, Test Compendium

Core Responsibilities

  • Owns the enterprise Test Compendium program and ensures successful execution of initiatives supporting strategic system integration projects, new test launches, test modifications, and test retirements
  • Leads cross-functional planning and execution activities across laboratory operations, pathology, medical affairs, quality, regulatory, billing, informatics, client services, commercial, and IT teams
  • Establishes program governance, manages risks and dependencies, and provides executive-level reporting on program status and performance
  • Oversees the end-to-end implementation process for new oncology diagnostic tests, ensuring all operational, commercial, billing, reporting, and informatics requirements are completed
  • Facilitates Test Compendium governance meetings and ensures alignment on priorities, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Develops and maintains standardized processes, tools, and documentation supporting Test Compendium activities
  • Captures test build requirements across laboratory information systems, ordering platforms, reporting systems, billing systems, and client-facing materials
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and quality requirements including CLIA, CAP, New York State, and other applicable regulations
  • Tracks program metrics and key performance indicators related to test launch timelines, implementation quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and drives initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and quality of Test Compendium operations
  • Acts as the primary liaison between operational stakeholders and leadership regarding Test Compendium priorities and execution status
  • Supports strategic portfolio initiatives including assay expansions, companion diagnostics, and new technology platform launches

  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of NeoGenomics’ oncology testing portfolio and laboratory operations
  • Buils strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Completes individual and departmental objectives and goals assigned by leadership while meeting agreed-upon deadlines
  • Provides high-quality service to internal and external customers
  • Effectively prioritizes and manages multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Adheres to NeoGenomics’ core values, safety policies, HR policies, and compliance procedures

Experience, Education and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive program and project management experience within oncology diagnostics, clinical laboratories, healthcare, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience leading cross-functional test launch, product lifecycle management, or laboratory operations initiatives preferred
  • Strong understanding of oncology diagnostic testing workflows and laboratory operations
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIMS), test catalog management, and healthcare operational processes preferred
  • Familiarity with CLIA, CAP, New York State, and other regulatory requirements impacting laboratory testing
  • Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experience operating within SDLC/PDLC frameworks, including requirements, design, build, test, and deployment phases
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
  • Strategic, results-oriented mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
