About the Role

Amazon Publishing is seeking a customer-obsessed Program Manager to join the Royalty & Payments team, focusing on the planning, execution, and delivery of royalty and payment commitments globally.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of operational programs including payee onboarding, subrights payment quality assurance, author and rights holder support, team performance metrics, and partner team process monitoring
  • Understand current and future technologies required to deliver the end-to-end process, including contracts, payee setup, payment troubleshooting, customer-facing payment resolutions, and metrics collection and reporting
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple teams including Finance, Tax, Contracts, Author Relations, Editorial, Vendor Management, and Product to drive operational efficiencies
  • Apply strong judgment to dive deep into operational issues, identify and address root causes clearly with internal stakeholders and external customers
  • Inspect and improve processes while consistently delivering results

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Pay

  • USA, MI, Grand Haven: $74,200.00 - $129,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle: $82,700.00 - $129,800.00 USD annually
