Key job responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of operational programs including payee onboarding, subrights payment quality assurance, author and rights holder support, team performance metrics, and partner team process monitoring.
- Understand and leverage current and future technologies required to deliver the end-to-end process, including contracts, payee setup, payment troubleshooting, customer-facing payment resolutions, and metrics collection and reporting.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Tax, Contracts, Author Relations, Editorial, Vendor Management, and Product to drive operational efficiencies.

The Amazon Publishing teams based in Seattle, New York, Luxembourg, London, and Munich publish emerging, bestselling, and critically-acclaimed authors in digital, print, and audio formats.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
