Elevate is Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) enterprise-wide initiative to reimagine how geospatial technology powers the energy network—one of the largest and most complex in the country. As part of PG&E’s digital transformation, Elevate is modernizing and standardizing the company’s Geographic Information System (GIS), a foundational platform that supports everything from infrastructure planning and asset management to emergency response.
Job Responsibilities
- Leads cross functional project teams through strategic outcomes (e.g., planning and executing strategic program offsites, peer utility benchmarking sessions, etc.)
- Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels
- Develops and manages department expense budget. Regularly monitors expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances
- Communicates status of various program adjacent initiatives to all stakeholders
- Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues
- Presents findings and makes recommendations to management
- Works with all levels of management and senior leadership across functions to influence decisions
Qualifications
- Minimum: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, Job-related experience, 10 years
- Desired: Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience, PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
Compensation
PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be between the minimum and midpoint listed below. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
- Bay Area Min: $144,000.00
- Bay Area Mid: $194,000.00
- Bay Area Max: $244,000.00
