About the role

This position will support two major initiatives at Enterprise: the Equitable Path Forward and Partner Sustainability initiatives, which are co-managed through the Partner Sustainability & Growth team in close coordination with Enterprise’s Capital Division.

Equitable Path Forward is a cross-divisional $3.5 billion nationwide initiative to help economically and socially disadvantaged developers gain access to capital and resources. Launched in 2020, Equitable Path Forward (EPF) pursues three goals:

  • Filling the capital gap created by a lack of access to financing
  • Strengthening providers through advisory services and other non-financial support
  • Creating new career pathways to broaden leadership in real estate

To date, we have partnered with over 100 developers, deployed over $1.2 billion of Enterprise capital, and leveraged over $6 billion of additional resources, resulting in the production or preservation of over 11,000 homes by EPF partners.

Partner Sustainability is a multi-year initiative developed in response to the affordable housing sector facing soaring development and operational costs amid unprecedented demand. The program delivers capacity building, tailored technical assistance, staffing support, grants, policy research, and new tools to strengthen partners and affordable housing systems.

  • Participates in and sometimes co-leads relationship stewarding with philanthropic investors, TA providers, municipal partners, and other ecosystem actors.
  • Supports program leadership in refining and executing strategic plans for EPF and Partner Sustainability.
  • Ensures alignment between programs and other Enterprise initiatives where synergy exists.
  • Coordinates with internal departments (Operations, Communications, National Programs, Development) to align implementation with Enterprise processes and reporting.
