About Enterprise

Enterprise is a national nonprofit that exists to make a good home possible for the millions of families without one. We support community development organizations on the ground, aggregate and invest capital for impact, advance housing policy at every level of government, and build and manage communities ourselves. Since 1982, we have invested $92.0 billion and created 1.1 million homes across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands – all to make home and community places of pride, power and belonging.

About the Role

This position will support two major initiatives at Enterprise: the Equitable Path Forward and Partner Sustainability initiatives, which are co-managed through the Partner Sustainability & Growth team in close coordination with Enterprise’s Capital Division.

Equitable Path Forward is a cross-divisional $3.5 billion nationwide initiative to help economically and socially disadvantaged developers gain access to capital and resources. Launched in 2020, Equitable Path Forward (EPF) pursues three goals:

  • Filling the capital gap created by a lack of access to financing
  • Strengthening providers through advisory services and other non-financial support
  • Creating new career pathways to broaden leadership in real estate

To date, we have partnered with over 100 developers, deployed over $1.2 billion of Enterprise capital, and leveraged over $6 billion of additional resources, resulting in the production or preservation of over 11,000 homes by EPF partners.

Partner Sustainability is a multi-year initiative developed in response to the affordable housing sector facing soaring development and operational costs amid unprecedented demand. The program delivers capacity building, tailored technical assistance, staffing support, grants, policy research, and new tools to strengthen partners and affordable housing systems.
