Program Manager (Part-Time ) - Brain Health Consortium

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strategic relationships with employers, industry partners, workforce agencies, and community organizations to expand employment opportunities for neurodiverse adults.
• Identifies employer workforce needs and aligns them with participant skills, strengths, and career interests to facilitate successful job placements and long-term employment outcomes.
• Conducts employer outreach and engagement activities to establish new partnerships and increase awareness of the benefits of hiring neurodiverse talent.
• Represents the program at networking events, job fairs, community outreach events, workforce development forums, and employer engagement activities, including staffing informational tables and presenting partnership opportunities to prospective employers.
• Collaborates with project staff, training providers, and employers to ensure training programs are responsive to current labor market demands and workplace requirements.
• Promotes comprehensive hiring practices by providing employers with education, resources, and technical assistance related to neurodiversity, workplace accommodations, and retention strategies.
• Creates and disseminates employer outreach materials, presentations, and other informational resources that promote the project’s services, employer partnerships, and comprehensive hiring initiatives.
• Maintains employer satisfaction and participant employment outcomes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in placement and retention efforts.
• Facilitates communication between employers and program participants to address workplace challenges, support successful onboarding, and enhance job retention.
• Tracks partnership activities, employment placements, and retention metrics to ensure project goals, performance measures, and reporting requirements are met.
• Represents the project at community events, industry meetings, and workforce development forums to strengthen partnerships and advance comprehensive employment initiatives.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to develop innovative workforce solutions that bridge the employment gap for neurodiverse adults and promote sustainable career pathways.
• Schedules, plans, coordinates, and administers major programs.
• Develops goals and operational procedures for the department.
• Manages program budgets, tracks expenditures, and allocates resources across projects.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and senior leadership, providing regular updates on program progress, KPIs, and performance.
• Identifies potential issues, analyzes impacts, and develops contingency plans.
• Analyzes data to assess program effectiveness and draft comprehensive reports for senior leadership, and provides recommendations.
• Leads a team to ensure efficient processes and workflows meet the department’s strategic objectives.
• Collaborates with other university departments, special groups, and external agencies to coordinate resources and communicate/market programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• One (1) year of related work experience.
