Program Manager of Electrical Technologies

Requirements

• Vocational certification for Electrical Technologies or qualifications for an annual valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
• Journeyman or Electrical Masters License

Experience

• At least 4,000 hours of experience within the last ten years in residential and/or industrial electrical work

Responsibilities

Mental Tasks

• Ability to understand written and oral instructions
• Demonstrate appropriate verbal and written communication in the supervision and teaching of students

Physical Tasks

• Ability to drive to and from electrical worksites
• Ability to lift, move, and manipulate electro/mechanical materials, equipment, and supplies on the job site
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and kneel
• Ability to assist students with electrical skills

Equipment

• Utilize electrical equipment such as programmable logic controllers, motor controls, pneumatics, meters, etc.
• Ability to drive a forklift
• Utilize office equipment such as telephones, computers, printers, copiers, VCRs, and other basic classroom and school equipment
