Responsibilities

  • Program management of Piedmont Augusta occupational medicine at the operational, programmatic, and policy and procedure levels as it relates to the occupational health business.
  • Develop and implement approved standards and guidelines for occupational health programs, ensuring they meet customer needs and attract new business.
  • Apply organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and financial management skills to ensure the development of systems, programs, and resources necessary for service delivery consistent with customer needs, licensing and accrediting agency standards, and financial goals.
  • Develop, direct, coordinate, and market the occupational health service program to market area businesses and other interested parties.
  • Plan and design service offerings; enhance existing and obtain additional occupational health program contracts.
  • Direct, coordinate, and ensure effective and efficient delivery of contracted services; integrate and coordinate service delivery.
  • Improve and enhance contract performance.
  • Work closely with the Director of Prompt Care services to ensure occupational medicine services are provided to designed standards in shared service locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a closely related field. Required
  • In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
  • 5 years of experience in a medical practice, hospital, or other healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required
  • In lieu of degree, 11 years of experience in a medical practice, hospital, or other healthcare setting with demonstrated leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous occupational medicine or development of employer-based healthcare programs. Preferred
