This full-time role supports supplier and co-op marketing initiatives for Amazon's World Wide Grocery Stores (WWGS) organization, assisting in planning, executing, and reporting supplier campaigns. The position collaborates across Marketing, Merchandising, eCommerce, Marketing Analytics, and Accounting/Finance teams to deliver business results against supplier marketing goals. Based in Austin, TX, this in-office role requires on-site presence 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Merchandising, eCommerce, and Promotions marketing teams to execute supplier placements in supplier marketing programs.
- Ensure critical stakeholders are informed and have appropriate influence over supplier campaign execution.
- Consolidate data from various reporting tools into supplier marketing dashboards and supplier-level reports.
- Regularly report on supplier marketing and advertising challenges and opportunities to team leadership, surfacing trends and recommending process improvements.
- Manage ad hoc issues related to campaign execution, including troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation.
- Maintain supplier portal with marketing resources and announcements.
- Manage the Supplier Marketing team inbox, providing information and answering questions from suppliers and internal stakeholders (Whole Foods Market and Amazon Ads teams).
- Manage detailed tasks and projects, including cost, scheduling, and resource requirements.
- Help manage tracking mechanisms for annual supplier marketing placements.
- Support the creation and maintenance of supplier-facing training materials and collateral.
Requirements
- 3+ years of marketing experience with emphasis on physical retail marketing or partner marketing.
- BA or BS degree.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical approach, leveraging data to inform strategy and craft marketing recommendations.
- Understanding of retail merchandising, store/ecommerce operations, and omnichannel strategies.
- Knowledge of product data, data structures, and data management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges.
- 1+ years of merchandising or planogram experience.
- Genuine interest in collaborative and integrated Supplier Marketing.
Pay
Base salary range: $60,400 – $105,700 USD annually. Compensation package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
