About the role
The Program Manager will support the Air Force Air Logistics Complex's supply chain management efforts at Tinker AFB, Hill AFB, and Robins AFB.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts.
- Manage the supply chain and mitigate parts-related risks/issues.
- Serve as the key liaison with the customer.
- Develop and advocate for solutions to parts availability issues.
- Develop strategies to support customer initiatives in materiel planning and logistics.
- Monitor DLA impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degraders.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 12+ years of professional experience in supply chain/distribution.
- 7 or more years' experience in a supervisor role.
- Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required).
Preferred
- Strong collaborative, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft productivity suites.
- 5 years' experience working for DLA and/or working directly supporting a USG Repair Depot.
- Excellent relationship/interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with incomplete information and ambiguity.
- Industry knowledge of Aerospace & Defense supply chains.
