Job Summary
Provides program management for the day-to-day execution of K–12 and workforce pathway programs, overseeing operations, logistics, and program timelines while ensuring compliance with Cleveland State University (CSU) policies and procedures. Coordinates with school districts, community partners, and internal stakeholders; tracks program milestones and outcomes; supports internships and camps; and prepares documentation and reports to support evaluation, accountability, and Director-level briefings. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in education, business administration, nonprofit management, project management, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of professional experience supporting or coordinating projects or programs, preferably in education, STEM, workforce development, or youth programming.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education, business administration, nonprofit management, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in K–12 or STEM-focused educational programming and partnering with urban school districts.
- Experience with procurement or budgeting processes in the public sector and supporting grant-funded, multi-organization initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of project and program management principles, including planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and coordinator of multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Knowledge of operational and administrative processes supporting education or workforce programs, including event coordinator, participant logistics, and documentation requirements.
- Skilled in communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including K-12 partners, community organizations, industry partners, and cross-functional CSU teams.
- Ability to manage procurement financial support activities, including vendor coordination, budget, tracking, and compliance with CSU policies and procedures, preferably within a public or higher education environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and manage complex projects with shifting priorities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports and presentations, and organize project information to support accountability, evaluation, and leadership decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
