Program Manager II, Forward Logistics Enablement, Cloud Supply Chain
About the role
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead logistics projects (e.g., system implementations, new market entries, or process changes).
- Manage competing priorities from various internal stakeholders (e.g., construction timelines vs. procurement delivery dates) to meet the overarching capacity goal.
- Set individual and team performance goals (KPIs) that align with GCL objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and manage performance improvement plans (PIPs) when necessary.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions, delays, or unforeseen issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in operations management.
- Experience in supply chain logistics (e.g., forward logistics, spares management, inventory, and kitting operations).
Preferred qualifications
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automated order workflows (e.g., Talos, Flux).
- Ability to manage global third-party logistics partners and distributed teams.
- Ability to balance operational needs (e.g., inventory availability) with supply chain efficiency (e.g., lean carrying levels).
