Job Summary and Qualifications
The Program Manager will be responsible for monitoring services of clients enrolled in the housing stabilization program, providing assessment and referral services, overseeing and managing The Chancery, HOPWA program, TBRA, and street outreach in the KIPDA and Lincoln Trail. They should have a Master of Social Work or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or a Bachelor of Social Work or related undergraduate degree with 10 years or more of related work experience, or a person with 13 years of experience in the field and no degree. They must demonstrate knowledge and ability to access local resources, advocacy, counseling, and working cooperatively with local service providers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high degree of organization, and creative problem-solving skills are required. A personal automobile, valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and willingness to travel within the full-service area are also necessary. Completion of required case management and (Critical Time Intervention) CTI training within 90 days of hire is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide outreach in the local communities.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of program budgets.
- Conduct review of employee case files and hold weekly treatment team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all Grantor and VOA policies and procedures.
- Complete all documentation and reporting requirements accurately and in a timely manner (i.e. statistical reports, program reports, QAS, annual reports and strategic plans).
- Maintain programs database and HMIS.
- Build relationships with all relevant agencies and service providers.
- Continue developing new forms of community outreach and awareness.
- Advocate for the Participants, integrating cultural values into their service needs.
- Identify systemic barriers and communicate with organizational leadership about these barriers to work collaboratively to find viable solutions.
- Maintain high level of integrity for program.
- Perform Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) duties as assigned by supervision & PQI Committee.
- Ensure compliance with all Council on Accreditation program standards.
- Perform external relations activities as needed.
- Aid in maintaining program manuals, developing training manuals and policies as needed.
