Program Management
The Program Manager, Connect2Health (C2H), manages the daily operations, strategic initiatives, and community partnerships of Connect2Health, a high-impact experiential learning program within U Career Success in the Office of Undergraduate Studies.
Direct/Manage/Supervise Programs
Direct/Manage/Supervise the design and implementation of programs that carry out the mission of the university.
Develop Strategies and Goals
Develop strategies and goals to create programs offering the greatest impact to the community.
Determine Plans
Determine short- and long-term program plans to meet organization goals.
Oversee Coordination
Oversee the coordination and daily work activities of the programs.
Represent Interests
Represent the interest of assigned program participants, both inside and outside of the organization.
Manage Volunteers
Manage volunteers, members, and staff.
Recruitment and Training
Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and retention of student volunteers.
Student Leadership Development
Recruit, train, and supervise student leaders.
Partner Engagement
Identify, cultivate, and expand clinical and community partnerships to support program growth and student engagement opportunities.
Compliance Processes
Ensure student volunteers meet institutional and healthcare compliance requirements.
Community Resource Systems
Oversee the development and maintenance of community resource referral systems and databases.
Program Assessment
Maintain records related to volunteer participation, service hours, referrals, and engagement. Develop and implement program assessment and continuous improvement processes.
Reports and Presentations
Prepare reports and presentations for university leadership and external partners.
Budget Management
Manage budgets and monitor expenditures.
Funding Opportunities
Identify and support funding, grant, and partnership opportunities.
Strategic Planning
Support strategic planning and program growth initiatives aligned with university priorities.
Events and Activities
Represent Connect2Health at campus and community events, meetings, and partner activities.
Education and Experience
Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Higher Education, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
Experience
Experience working in healthcare, community-based organizations, or higher education.
Volunteer Management
Experience managing volunteer programs and student leadership initiatives.
Knowledge
Knowledge of social determinants of health and community resource navigation.
Partnership Development
Experience with partnership development, grant support, and program evaluation.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Higher Education, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
Experience
Experience working in healthcare, community-based organizations, or higher education.
Volunteer Management
Experience managing volunteer programs and student leadership initiatives.
Knowledge
Knowledge of social determinants of health and community resource navigation.
Partnership Development
Experience with partnership development, grant support, and program evaluation.
First-level manager. Manages the activities of supervisors and/or individual contributors. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
- EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
- Manager, Program Management: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience.
